Q.

My baby boy is 3 months and 11 days old. His birth weight was 2.62 kgs and he now weighs 5.3kg. I was only breast feeding him but Pediatrician has asked me to start supplementing with formula after breastfeeding so that he can gin weight. Should I start formula?

A. Hello, your baby boy is 3 months old and his birth weight was 2.4 kg and at 3 months it’s 5.3 so it’s twice as of birth weight but inappropriate for his age so give him nanpro 1 formula milk upto 6 months

A. Hello dear parent! It is said to be ideal if the baby doubles its birth weight by 6 months completion and triples by one year completion. If your baby is active and healthy, accepting feeds, passing adequate urine a minimum of 6 to 8 times in a day then nothing to worry. Continue breastfeeding your baby well on demand.
