Q.

My baby boy is 2 year old. His height is 99 cm and head circumference is 53 cm. Is there anything to worry or it's normal?

A. Height baby gain height 4cms per months for first 3months and thereafter 2 cms per months till 6months of age.  Baby may achieve height 73 -76 cms at 1yrs of age and  85-88 cms at 2yrs of age.   93-97 cms at 3yrs of age.  100 -105cms at 4yrs of age.  105-110 cms at 5 yrs of age and At birth Generally full term baby have their head circumference 34-35 cms Head circumference will increase by 2cms per month for first 3months of age and Then 1cms for next 3months till 6months of age After 6months of age head circumference will increase by 0.5 cms per months till 1yr

A. I don’t see anything wrong with that also I would like to tell you that all the city’s were completely depend on the measurements that the child had at the time of birth because the body is going to take growth in that proportion only Preeti have a confusion regarding that you can just check it as per the bird proportion of the child that is going to give you a better clarity as of now
