A. For your 2-month-22-day-old baby’s dry skin, you can follow these gentle skincare tips: Cream: Use a hypoallergenic, fragrance-free baby moisturizer (like Sebamed, Cetaphil, Aveeno, or Mustela) immediately after a bath when the skin is still damp. Apply twice daily if the dryness is severe. Body Wash: Use a mild, soap-free baby body wash (Dove Baby, Himalaya, or Sebamed) and limit bath time to 5-7 minutes in lukewarm water (not hot). Avoid excessive scrubbing. Clothes: Choose soft, cotton fabrics and wash new clothes before first use. Avoid synthetic materials that can irritate the skin. Detergent: Use a gentle, baby-safe detergent (like Mee Mee, Pigeon, or Mamaearth) that is free from harsh chemicals and fragrances to avoid skin irritation. Other Tips: Apply a thin layer of coconut oil or baby oil before bathing to lock in moisture. Keep your baby hydrated (breastfeed/formula feed adequately) and avoid harsh weather exposure. If the dryness worsens or there are red patches, itching, or peeling, consult a pediatrician, as it could be early signs of eczema.
