Q.

my baby boy is 18 months old, is it ok if I still feed him 3-4 times a day?? I give him half cup cow milk in the morning and milk porridge at night, is that okay?

A. not ok. For a one year old baby, give 3 main meals + 2 snacks a day. Give breast milk, top milk in between and on demand. With milk intake limited up to 450 ml per day only, at this age breast feeding should not be given in day time.

A. Yes it is fine, Limit your child's milk intake to 16–24 ounces (480–720 milliliters) a day. Include iron-rich foods in your child's diet, like meat, poultry, fish, beans, and iron-fortified foods. Continue serving iron-fortified cereal until your child is eating a variety of iron-rich foods.
