My baby boy is 13days old. from last night he is suffering fever, why this situation happen plse tell me

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children3 years agoA. calpol drops Fever is the response of the body against foreign infection like virus bacteria etc no need to use any medicines unless the temperature is more than hundred degrees

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. fever is the response of the body towards any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body and only when the temperature is above 99F it is called as fever, so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose which vecan be again repeated after every 5 - 6 hours if required and do cold sponging of the body to reduce fever in between the doses.
