Q.

My baby boy is 11 months now. he was sitting in tripod position till 10th month. so paeditrician referred us to a neurologist. she said there's no problem all test were normal but then also she referred us to a developmental specialist. but we didn't go and waited for a month. now he sits for only some time and keeps his left hand down for support. though he tries to raise both hands when I give him d some toy but he topples to side. he has also started upwards crawling on the back. but I m really worried about his sitting. I don't want to go to any specialist now. any suggestions

A. Hello dear parent! Your hesitation to go and visit the specialist is definitely understandable. Your child is showing improvement. But, to avoid any discomfort and confusion it is better to get your baby examined by the specialist and rule out any chances of further complications. You can allay all your fears. Good luck and take care.
