Q.

My baby boy is 1 month 3 days old. His weight is 3 kg only. He feeds on my milk only. Whether he is underweight or average. How to increase his weight?? Plz suggest

A. dear mom. what is his birth weight, minimum 500 gram of weight should be gain per month. feed as often as they seem hungry or want comforted, offer more breastfeeds, feed from both breasts at each breastfeed. If you're concerned, meet with a lactation consultant or your pediatrician.

A. You check as per the birth weight of the child every month your child should have a gain of 4 to 500 g if your child is having this kind of median than the feeling that you giving sufficient otherwise you will have to start giving formula feeding to the child for proper weight gain
