my baby boy 2years 10months old.he is suffering from cough.plz suggest

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is thbvery useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine which should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Dabur Honitus can be given to the child twice a day and along with that if you do not have that medicine right now you can go ahead with giving ginger juice and honey mixture to your child twice or thrice a day and apart from that you can also go ahead with liberalising the child that is also going to be very helpfulWrite Your Answer Here
