my baby born with head full of hairs but after tonsure her hairs are grown in centre of the head only

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Hair loss in babies is very common and because of many reasons.
Because of the withdrawal maternal hormone initial hairfall is there.
After birth all the hair of the baby remain in the resting phase and usually by 8 to 12 weeks of age shedding of hairs is there .
Hairs will grow back mostly by 3-7 months but a pfroper quality hair will be there by around 2 years of age.
Cradle cap is also a cause for frequent shedding of hairs. along with traction alopcecia because of continuous pressure on head in lying position
