Q.

My baby born on 26th sept and her weight is 1.44kgs, she is pre term baby born 30weeks +4days, she kept at NICU till 19th oct, now she is 2.6 kgs. we didn't give her bath. at the time of birth she is fair but over the period her skin colour turns black, is that her permenent skin colour? does this change occur because they kept under warmer and when she had jaundice they kept under blue light is this reason or something else

A. Hello! Baby’s skin colour keeps changing in the first few months. It is genetically determined. As your baby puts on healthy weight gain there will be some gradual changes. Regularly massage your baby with Babyhug cold pressed coconut oil for better skin health

The colour complexion of the child is based on the genetics of the child has got no connection with phototherapy or blue light that your child is kept into the complexion usually changes for 6 to 8 months and then only you can be certain about the colour that your child will which would be totally based on the genetics of the child
