my baby born is jus 45days oly ..he slps long during night without taking feed is it oky r shld i wak him and gv..am worried is my milk suply is oky and he is getng sufucent milk ah nu and during mrng also he slps i wl wak and gv then also he sucks few mouth and slps. i dono he is drinknh properly nu

Uma RamMom of a 7 yr old boy2 years agoA. Hello good morning !! Its common new born babies sleep around 16-18 hours and take feed while sleep its dream feed it also counts dont worry continue feeding by waking up (gently rubbing,patting baby shoulder,feet).
Yes during night time also give feed every two to three hours ,feeding frequently every 2-3 hours is must.
If baby sleeps well,gaining average weight & tummy looks full then feed is sufficient .
