A. during first few days the weight gain is slow so nothing to worry about and just continue adequate breastfeeding which is the best source of nutrition for the baby give proper burping after each feed baby should pass at least 8 to 10 times urine in a day

A. CHECK FOR DISCHARGE WEIGHT, IT WOULD BE LOWER THAN BIRTH WEIGHT. COMPARE WITH DISCHARGE WEIGHT HOW MUCH WEIGHT SHE HAD GAINED. NORMALLY BABY GAINS AROUND .5 KG TO 1.5 KG IN 45 DAYS. CHECK FOR CORRECT TECHNIQUES OF FEEDING WHETHER FEEDING IS DONE PROPERLY IN SITTING POSITION. ( ASK FOR PEDIATRICIAN IN YOU SEE BABY IN ANY DISCOMFORT) (NOTE: I AM NOT AN EXPERT)

A. hi yes it is little bit less please give more and more breastfeeds to your child make sure your child get enough milk feed your child on each breast at least 20 minutes so your child can get full fat hindmilk well which help to increase your child weight
