my baby body temperature is 97.9is it fever

Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid prepgdrarations.
cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

Shaista TarannumMom of a 16 yr 5 m old boy4 years agoA. temperature higher than 99.4 is fever in babies. 97.9 is not fever ideally. may be the body temperature is higher sometimes because the baby is wrapped in more clothing or the temperature of the room is higher. dress appropriately.
