Q.
my baby birth weight is 2.25 kg and baby delivered below 37 weeks i.e. 36 weeks 3 days only completed . now she is 2 month old and weight is around 3.5. is it normal.. and delivery before completion of 37 weeks also premature?And in dopler scan weight is 2.9 kg but after delivery it is 2.25 kg only.. how is it possible?

shreya goelMom of a 7 yr 8 m old boy5 years agoA. Hello mom This is totally normal. And according to babies birth weight baby weight is totally fine. Baby weight should be triple in a year according to birth weight. Continue breastfeeding your baby properly it will help for babies better growth. And don’t give anything else to your baby till baby turned six months old. Happy parenting Stay safe stay home
