POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 8 m old boy5 years agoA. Hello parent, Infant dyschezia is a problem in learning to defecate. Crying is the infant's attempt to create intra-abdominal pressure, before they learn to bear down more effectively for a bowel movement. Warm Water to Relax the Anus: Warmth helps many children relax the anus and release a stool. For straining too long, have your child sit in warm water. You can also put a warm wet cotton ball on the anus. Vibrate it side to side for about 10 seconds to help relax the anus.
