Q.

My baby at times takes feed less than 2 hrs interval (i.e within 1.5 hrs) and almost spits up fully. Is this normal ?? We are unable to pacify the baby without giving feed and also at times we are not able to burp the baby. Do suggest a solution.

A. dear the feeding frequency varies from baby to baby so it's alright. look for correct latch during feeding. at one episode feed from only one breast so that baby receives fat rich hindmilk which will keep him full for longer. Burp in sitting position better than on shoulder keeping the head and chest at a level higher than stomach helps to reduce vomit.
