Q.
my baby always sucking his fingers without drinking milk all the time, during night time also he sucks his fingers even when he was hungry and not crying for milk, what should I do?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. finger, thumb, hand,things insertion in the oral cavity is very normal at this stage and usually it is due to teething pain the child is experiencing along with inflammation and pain in the gums.
just maintain hygiene of the child finger as well as any type of things which goes inside the foral cavity and also try to maintain the hygiene of your finger when you are touching the hands of the child.
to decrease the teething pain you can press the gums of the child andfc if the child is very irritable and crying for pain you can give paracetamol also.
it is a self limiting habit and no treatment is required.

This is just a habit.
U can put soft mittens to cover ur baby hands to distract ur baby.
The second reason can be teething.
Give ur baby teethers like babyhug teethers that put pressure on gums and give relief to baby from pain during teething.
