My baby admitted in hospital bcoz of wbc increases the up-to 22000 Dr give 5 doses of saline nd say take augmentin duo for 5days bt after two days of augmentin my baby having some much potty like watery, sticky what to do can I stop to give augmentin bcoz 2days dose is remain

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician4 years agoA. hi your baby is 4 months old now sadly augmentin duo has very common side effects of gastric upset leading to loose motions very often.so start a probiotic and zinc supplement like rinifol z 2.5 ml twice a day for 5 days alongwith the prescribed medication
