my baby 9 months old. tonsils are swollen due to cold.is this normal or not.

A. swollen is fine and common in children.
if it's infected then only treatment is required.
it is important to prevent temperature variations around the child which is the most common cause of cough and cold in children followed by any type of food which is causing allergies and do not give cold water or ice cream and keep the child immunized for influenza that is give flu vaccine yearly and you can also go for home remedies regularly like tulsi ginger and honey and turmeric with milk
