Q.

my baby 9 months old having heavy cough.. medication already started as per pediatrician prescription. but when he cough, lot of mucous comes in his mouth but he swallows it in.. he doesn't know to spit obviously. so question is this is ok? will those mucous comes through potty??

A. it doesn't matter whether the child is swalloing the mucus or spitting the mucus. they usually swallow it and it goes into the stomach and then out the mucus will decrease in two or three days
