my baby 5 month old her poo is dark green color what might be the reason. she is completely in formula milk lactogen

A. Green colour stool is normal only, If baby is passing urine minimum 6-8 times per day. Don't give so much importance to motion unless blood in motion or bad smelling motion. Consistently green stools in the breastfed baby can indicate an imbalance of foremilk/hindmilk, often resulting in frothy green stools. ... Teething can also bring about green stools due to increased saliva. A lot of green vegetables or something with green food coloring in mom's diet also cause green colour motion in baby.

A. Hello... my son 4months 22days now I'm breastfeeding only he pooping in dark green colour from two three past weeks and today he pooped in same dark green and smelly too can someone tell why?? and what is the reason???

A. Hello and good evening green stool is an indication of infection or cold please consult with the doctor and give the baby some medicine for it and the color of the stool should gradually return to normal
