Q.

my baby 39 days old.he s going motion 5 days once..my doctor prescribed empty syrup for 3 days only..first day syrup can given motion is in solid stage..but next 3 days not motion..is there any problem?

A. Would advice no medicine if consistency is solid to semisolid

A. Stool- it is very common and normal for small children who are less than 6 months of age not to pass stool for 10 days also also sometimes children will pass stool 7 or 8 times per day also and that is also normal and if the consistency of the stool is semti solid to solid there is no need to worry about the frequency as well as colour of stool you will have to meet your doctor if the consistency is very watery and the child is uncomfortable or there is blood in the stool Also straining while passing urine and stool is normal
