A. Fever is commonly seen in babies and mostly it's viral infection which is very common in children. But if fever is high grade and persisting or assosiated with specific symptoms than other causes should also be ruled out . Antipyretic like paracetamol or ibuprofen or mefenamic acid are ushgually given to reduce fever . Cold sponging with lukewarm water is also helpful . b Doctor consultation should be done if symptoms like excessive irritability dullness loss of appetite less urine output is there .

A. Hello dear parent! Complete the course of medication as prescribed by your doctor. Also try giving a light sponge bath to reduce the discomfort. Keep your doctor posted about any changes or developments. Good luck and take care.
