Q.
My 9month kid fell down from cot in sleep...got small bump and greenish colour over right frontal side of the head..cried and become normal...I feed him n he slept...now he is active as normal...is it normal?

Dr Rashmi SriramMom of a 9 yr 1 m old girl3 years agoA. hi head injury requires examination. External injury is bruise which wil resolve in 3 weeks. However if the child is irritable or there is vomiting better to get checked once to rule out internal injury.

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi yes it is normal. you can try cool pack or gently rub coconut oil there ,it will help to cure this. although observe your child for next 48 hours ,if there is any symptom like fever, irritability, breathing difficulty , dazzineess, low appetite, vomiting, diaherra etc then please visit your nearest pediatrician immediately.
