my 9 yr kids have stomach pain , I hv consult a best doctor , all medicines courses had completed, aft that he has stomach pain from last 2 months , doctor said nothing he has to worried , I visited new doctor well known for stomach , he has visiting he also said minor infection nothing to worried n prescribed medicine , bt in his list sibellium 5 mg written , why ds medicine use in treatment of stomach pain

Mam they may have figured out some issue like infection or something which is why the medicine may have been suggested if you’re not very certain about why it is given and what is the use of it you need to discuss it with your doctor before you give it to the child
