Q.
my 9 month old baby gets instant hiccups within few seconds of laughing... it has been like this since she was 6 months.. is it something to worry? how can i stop it.?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. hiccups in big children usually occur due to excessive laughing, acidity as well as gas in the stomach and intestine of the child.
it is important to give plenty of water to drink as well as easily digestible food made at home.
it is self limiting problem and will decrease but if it is occurring again and again then it is advisable to complete a course of antacid.
