My 9&1/2 month old baby not sit up independently but she sits well if I put her in a sitting position and pivots in all directions while sitting. She does not crawl, but creeps a little. She mostly rolls.I am sick with worry. Any comments or suggestions? Please help, I am losing sleep over this!

generally baby start crawling in anytime between 8 to 12 months....as each baby is different, so they can reach their milestones differently...

even some babies don't crawl at all... they directly stand and start walking..

so don't worry too much ....

no.. actually if you have made him to sit by yourself then he don't know how to get up on his own...
you should give him tummy time.. don't make him sit by your self...
try to make him sit by himself..

my baby also do that.. he can sit if we make him sit as we make him sit from 4-5 months.. so he don't get any chance to know how to sit by his own.. but he figure it out on 9 months...
so keep trying.. don't worry too much

wait for some more time.every baby is different. if your baby is active, talks jibberish, rolls from one end to another to reach out for things,understands what you are saying and acts accordingly, eats food, then you should really wait. wait till 11th month. my son went through hell coz his father was freaked out about him not being able to sit up or stand on his own.in the end all our worries were not worth it co right after the 20 blood tests he started sitting and standing. drawback - his nature changed drastically due to the tests..so please wait and give lo food that gives strength.
