Q.

My 8month old son's head becomes hot and sweats a lot while breastfeeding and sleeping.What is the reason and what should I do?

A. It can be attributed to the summers. So ensure to keep the room ambient and airy and if need be air-conditioned. With time and age babies’ body learns to regulate the temperature. This is usually not a cause of worry.

A. dear mum it is absolutely normal and common for baby to sweat during feeding. Breastfeeding takes effort thus produces sweat also during feeding baby is close to mother's body which increases the temperature and may result in sweating make baby wear comfortable clothes and room temperature should also be comfortable
