Q.

My 8month baby did black color potty is it normal or should I consult a doctor?She is having carrot beans beet khichdi in lunchtime and 2days before I gave her Ragi.Is it beacause of her food or anything else pls tell me

A. Black color stools can be due to iron syrup. It can also be due to passage of altered blood. If repeated motion is black in colour then better to get stool examined for altered blood

A. Hi mom Maintain hygiene Potty colouring may varies between dark yellow to green colour It may happen due to iron tonic You can consult with your doctor once for proper medical examination Take a good care of your baby Do tummy time and cycling movement of legs to relieve gas and constipation Offer different varieties of food If child is active there is nothing to worry about it
