Q.

My 8 year old son's nose is often blocked at night. during the day he gets better. kindly advise #AskTheExpert

A. nasal blockage can be relieved by using nasal satrline drops like nasoclear saline drops in the nose followed by nasal aspirator to take out the secretions very gently steafm inhalation can also be helpful in this condition

A. Thanks for the response Sonam... I had a doubt.. does using nasal spray frequently, makes kids habitual of the spray??

A. hi dear One of easiest ways to clear a baby's or toddler's nose is to use a saline nasal spray. Nasal spray works by thinning out the mucus, allowing the nose to clear out and ease congestion. If you can't run to the store for saline drops or spray, try mixing one cup of warm, filtered water and a ½ teaspoon of salt.
