Q.
My 8 months old baby girl is sneezing and has got running nose. She is also coughing. Pls suggest. Whether I should take her to doctor immediately or will wait and give her some home remedy for recovery

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. the baby is 8 months of it is baby is having both cold and cough it is always advisable to consult a doctor for proper medicines after appropriate examination of the baby

Keep a bowl full of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far overnight
You may give her a tea spoon of lukewarm water every hour in the day time (don't wake her up though)
Don't use RO water
Use simply purified water having TDS higher than 350.
Take sunbath daily with her head and ears covered.
Don't expose her to winds
Nasal saline drops are useful
home steam from safe distance can be given
