Q.
My 8 months baby suffering from cold. he does not sleep in the night properly. his nostrils aren't open also he cries whole day and night. visited doctor and suggested nebulizer. medicine will take its time to recover but meanwhile what should I do so he does not cry please suggest some tricks.

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children2 years agoA. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated .
Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine .
As a home remedy steam inhalation would be very useful .
Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can behu used in hioa proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
