Q.
My 8 month old baby girl is suffering from a cough. today is day 1... she is not coughing regularly but she is doing like 5-6 times in an hour... when she wakes up his voice and cough comes back... We gave 0.4 ml zyrtec drops. please suggest when to see doctor

no other symptoms are there as of now just coughing wet...

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where most of the time supportive treatment icys given.
along with that cough expectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given.
steam inhalation bcan be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
