Q.

my 8 month daughter runny nose is not going of instead of giving her Sinarest drop and her fever also came back again and we are giving calpol drop. little bit sneezing is also there. please advise

A. Cold is most of the time because of some viral infection or allergic condition and symptoms are usually sneezing, running nose, nasal congestion and fever. cough along with throat irritation are usually associated . Treatment consists of antiallergic antipyretics analgesics and decongestants medicine . As a hodme remedy steam inhalation would be very useful . Medicines like wikoryl / tminic / Alex cold can be used ind a proper dose for 3-5 days as per the symptoms . Steam inhalation is repeated frequently .
