my 8 day girl child is having blood discharge is it normal ?

ExpertDr.Sabiha AnjumObstetrician and Gynaecologist3 years agoA. Hello dear Yes it is normal for new born babies to get red discharge from the vagina due to maternal hormonal effect . This may continue upto 6 months of age also. But if it is coming from urinary opening then we have to rule out severe dehydration
