my 7yr old child has eczema can i use nalangu maavu for her .her skin color changing to black so only i asking. she is using aveeno moisturiser after bath

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician7 years agoA. Eczema skin looks dry, itchy and irritated. You can see a red rash, baby itching, thick Leathery patches can be seen. Clean the saliva, use fragrance free soaps, keep bails trim, use Luke warm. Water for bath, moisturise after the bath, use cream instead of lotion as they are thick and more effective, use soft cotton clothes and fabric. Keep the baby in well ventilated room to avoid sweating.

HemaMom of a 6 yr 10 m old girl6 years agoA. Hi my baby got dry and dark skin after using nalangu mavu. Please don’t use it when she has eczema please continue using aveeno dry cream and body wash. If possible use aveeno eczema night balm. My baby was very fair and after using this nalangu mavu she turned completely dark with white patches so please avoid it and continue using aveeno. She is doing better now after one continuous month of using aveeno products and also apply cream twice a day.

SantoMom of a 8 yr 7 m old girl7 years agoA. This is quite effective and chemical free bath powder for babies. Green gram dal one cup Chana Dal one cup Rose Petals two cups Almonds one cup. Dry all these for a day or two and blend to smooth powder. Store and use it everyday during bath.
