Q.

My 7 year son has fever with stomach ache Doctor has given cefixime and ofloxacin syrup with fever medicine But fever is going down with fever medicine and returning back What should I do

A. It is the nature of the fever to repeat every 3 to 5 hours which is why you are suggested to give paracetamol every six hours with the condition is if the fever doesn’t subside within 72 hours then you should consult your doctor for further assistance because then it is not a regular fever
