Q.
my 7 months old son is having cough n cold. instead of kofarest drop can I give kofarest syrup. m out of station so unable to get in touch with my pedratician. please suggest.

Shilpa SalwanMom of a 13 yr 8 m old boy8 years agoA. till 1 year of age only drops are recommended. please try to go for same. There is a simple home remedy that you can follow. Take a tablespoon of ajwain with 2 tej patta and 3-4 laung. Roast them on tawa till black. Now put this in a handkerchief. Let it cool a bit and then give it's warmth to yourself and your baby on chest, back and near nose. In case baby refuses reheat it and keep near pillow. It's fragrance will help keep the blocked nose open.
