Q.

My 7 month old baby is not keeping her left foot properly on floor while trying to make her stand. She completely balance on her right leg and the left one keeps moving. I checked with a Pediatrician but she suggested to check with an orthopedic surgeon. I am scared now. Is this a severe concern?

A. Hi. Seven months is too young a age to make her stand. the upper part of the body is heavy, the legs cannot bear that weight. I suggest you wait for few more months. Let her stand on her own when she is ready. Usually after 10 months.
