Q.
My 7.5 month old baby is not having solid food from last 3 days. He has mild cold.he is having only my breastfeed milk. Due to this Iam feeling very low now. Is this normal? Till when he may reject the solid food?

ExpertDr Laxmi Chavan-SawantAyurvedic Gynaecologist 1 Year agoA. if the baby is having cold and cough yes the baby is mostly reject taken solid food so don't be very forceful for solid for intake instead you should give more of semisolid and liquids to the baby

Only feel comfort while breast feed,having water,fluids.
Give breast feed frequently ,dal water,cerelac in liquid form once a day rest of the day milk.
Breast feed and fluids hydrates well .
Apply mustard oil or vicks baby vaporub on baby chest,back around nose to get relief from cold ,breathing issues any.
