My 6 yr old suffered from fever in last month due to infection and CRP level was 94. Now again after 15 days he is suffering from fever and now CRP level is 76.. What are the reasons of CRP level is high and how much time will take to come within limit after hospitalised.. Now also last 24 hrs he has no fever but CRP is 76. pls guide.

Ma’am the infection level is still high so you may have to continue with the course of antibiotics has recommended by the doctor or any other treatment that your doctor recommends because infection seems to be on the higher side which is why the treatment will also take a little longer time to subside maybe the doctor may advise you to hospitalise also
