Q.

My 6 year old son get dpt vaccine on saturday, first two days normal fever and from 3 day fever coming only night and temp is 100.8. today is 4 day still same whole day withoit medicine temp 99 and night it increase to 100.8 and he is not able to walt and cant even fold his leg.

A. when fever and pain comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times zper day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usually subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyondz 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever

Then I’m going to suggest you to get it checked with your doctor because if this is the situation the doctor would be able to tell you since it has been some days if your child is still unable to walk and following so much of difficulty when it comes to walking best is to check with the paediatrician as well
