The baby may not be feeding sufficiently or is not getting enough milk during a feed. Are you breastfeeding him? Are you producing enough breast milk? If you are able to produce good amount of breast milk and the baby is able to latch properly, he should urinate for atleast 6-8 times in a day. Make sure that the baby empties one breast first before moving on to the next breast as the milk that comes towards the end which is hind milk, is rich in fat and helps in healthy weight gain.
