Q.
My 6 months old son screams loudly with his full strength every 7-10 secs.. he is doing this since yesterday.. his screams looks like a pattern... though he is not crying but sudden loud scream in a pattern of 7-10 secs is bit worrying to me.. he had got his vaccination for 6 month completion yesterday.. and we have observed that post that he had starting screaming like this... he smiles and play with us but in between he shouts/screams a loud.. pls advice

ExpertDr. Pandurang sawantPaediatrician7 years agoA. Check for vaccination site is there any redness or swelling. No need to worry for that Its common after vaccination If baby is crancky , exessive cry, swelling and fever then Give paracetmol drops to baby for 1-2 days Fever, pain will decreases in next 1 -2 days Don't apply anything over vaccination site It cause decrease in the efficiency of given vaccine Cont. to give feed as per demand Keep ur baby well hydrated Keep a watch on urine output Baby should pass minimum urine 6-8 times per day Swelling will take it's own time to disappear.

ShraddhaMom of a 8 yr 2 m old girl7 years agoA. I think it’s normal. My baby was also used to do same think few months before.she started screaming suddenly while playing or something. Just divert her mind and start talking to him or show any toy. It will help. My daughter was making noise for sleeping also sometimes.
