my 6 months old baby Having cold and cough not fever.. consulted doctor and giving oral syrups. still she is suffering in cough, sneezing and running nose . how long it will take to cure.. shall I continue the medicine or need to consult another doctor?

A. generally it takes more time than adults for babies to recover from cold .so you can give syrup for 5-6 days.it will subside

A. if there is no relief within 3 to 4 days after using medicine see the doctor again. if there is no relief it is advisable to see the doctor for proper examination if there is need for proper investigations also both for diagnosis and treatment
