Q.

my 6 month old is straining a lot to poop sometimes, he poops normally sometimes. is that anything to worry?

A. straining while passing urine and stool is very normal before completion of 6 months of age. sometimes this can continue forf one year of age also. it usually occurs due to the distention of the urinary bladder and rectum of the child. the sensationd is new for the child that's why the child is crying if you feel that the crying is more than normal you should visit a pediatrician for examination
