Q.

My 6-month-old baby passed a stool that contained a small amount of blood mixed with a slightly thick stool. About an hour later, she had another bowel movement, which was completely normal, with no blood and no hard stool. Since then, she has been active, playful, smiling, feeding well, and has had no fever or vomiting. This is the first time this has happened, and I have not yet introduced carrot puree or any new foods after the episode.

A. So first you have to make sure is it associated with the food or as in is it really blood or it’s the food colour because sometimes this can happen but since it has happened for the first time I would recommend you to monitor the motion for another 24 hours if you see blood again like this it’s basically due to stomach infection you need to see your doctor
