my 6 month old baby hiccups what's the reason for this

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist5 years agoA. there is no problem. hiccups is normal and common among babies. it is caused by no apparent reason, mainly due to stimulation of the diaphragm muscles. hiccups can be caused if baby is fed too quickly or even when laughing out aloud bottle fed babies more likely to get hiccups due to swallowing of air. it resolves on its own after sometime, do not worry.

Swapna sanjay RaichMom of 2 children5 years agoA. For hiccup you can give water to baby. Your baby has completed 6 months so can give water to baby. But give boiled water and give it in small amount. May be after drinking water it will be ok.
