Q.

My 6 month baby girl is having loose motion after every feed either it is mother's milk or formula. He stool test report shows some lactose intolerance. Dr has asked to stop formula and give isomilk Giving isomilk has reduced frequency of stool but again it started with formula. Also family member suggest some gripe water/tal mishri to give her. Please suggest what shall I do.

A. continue isomil for lactose intolerance you will have to give lactose free milk to the child. it can be either soya milk (isomil / zerolac) or milk preparations which does not contain lactose. meet your doctor who can guide you regarding the available preparations. if the child is having dehydration you can give ors also.
