My 5 months old baby has small white patches on her face, exactly on her right side nose and right eye corner. May I know the reason n remedy.. Please

White spot on the face and body of the baby can be appeared due to many reasons like pityriasis Alba, vitamin B12, zinc and calcium deficiencies, fungus infection like tinea versicolour, worms, vitiligo, etc... They appears as dry white scaly spot on the baby's face and body... It can be itchy too.. So you should consult the pediatrician regarding the same as he can better guide you through the same after proper examination and analysis.. And he can give you some specific meditated cream to apply on.. You should ensure that the baby should have healthy balanced diet.. Give importance to the fresh fruits and veggies ... Try to maintain the hygiene and cleanliness... Keep the skin hydrated.. Apply Moisturizer regularly.. Don't let the baby to scratch them.. Try to keep his skin well Moisturized... Trim his nails. . Keep the spot away from the sunlight.. Use sunscreen while going out in the sun. .. Avoid peek hour sun... . .
